Delay Assessment

When things go wrong on a project, the manner in which they are handled can mean the difference between a successful completion of a project to a contractor going out of business. Problems with project design, materials, weather and construction can dramatically increase the costs a contractor has to pay to complete a job. Sometimes, these problems may be a result of poor planning or other kinds of mismanagement by the client. In many cases, contractors may seek to change the terms of the contract or otherwise be compensated for problems that arise in the course of construction. That's where our construction claims analysts come in for both parties.

What our Construction Claims Analysts Do -
The major work of our project claims analysts is to review project records, create logical interpretations about what happened, provide an analysis of how the work was performed, and assess blame for failure. Because we may work for both clients and claimants, the conclusions drawn by our claims analysts vary widely. In addition, our claims analyst may assist in negotiating claims to either recoup the greatest compensation or to save the most money in resolving claims, depending on the side they are representing. Our claims analysts also can act as administrators and aid in processing and investigating claims. We often survey project offices and job sites and provide guidance on the strengths and weaknesses of a claim. We can also act as consultants to construction companies and help them initiate a claim against a client.
